Breakthrough! TENGEN and Tishman Signed for Life Science Park

On October 14th, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between the Government of Pudong New Area in Shanghai and Tishman Speyer, as well as the signing ceremony of the TENGEN Life Science and Technology Park project, was held at the Pudong New Area Office Center. The globally renowned multinational enterprise Tishman Speyer has teamed up with China's leading industrial and electrical company TENGEN Group, has jointly invest in building the first Life Science Park in the Asia Pacific region in Zhangjiang.

Zhu Zhisong, member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Pudong New Area Committee, Hang Yingwei, Deputy Secretary General of the Municipal Government, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and District Mayor, Peng Song, Executive Deputy Director of Shanghai Science and Technology Foundation and member of the Standing Committee of the Pudong New Area Committee, and Wu Qiang, Deputy District Mayor of the Pudong New Area, attended the signing ceremony. Xu Ruibai, CEO of Tishman Speyer, Bao Zhiyuan, Asia Regional Director and Senior Managing Director of Tishman Speyer Company, Chen Zhichao, CEO and Senior Managing Director of Tishman Speyer Company in China, Gao Tianle, Chairman of TENGEN Group, and heads of relevant departments such as Pudong New Area Committee Office, District Government Office, District Science and Technology Commission, District Planning and Resources Bureau, District Ecological Environment Bureau, Zhangjiang Management Bureau, and Kangqiao Town jointly witnessed the signing ceremony. The event was hosted by Li Hui, Director of the Science and Technology Commission of Pudong New Area.

Zhu Zhisong introduced the economic and social development of Pudong and expressed gratitude to Tishman Speyer Company for its positive contributions in the development process of Pudong New Area. Zhu Zhisong said that openness and innovation are the most distinctive features of Pudong. The major strategies and innovative measures of the country and Shanghai in opening up to the outside world are always put first and foremost in Pudong. Tishman Speyer is an important partner of Pudong, and the collaborative development of works has become a landmark project of Pudong. The strategic cooperation between Tishman Speyer and TENGEN Group this time is in line with the construction of the leading area in Pudong and the strategic development needs of the biopharmaceutical industry. He stated that the heads of relevant departments in Pudong New Area will fully support the construction and landing of the TENGEN Life Science and Technology Park project, and believe that the cooperation between the two sides can enter a new stage, reach a new level, and win the future together.

It is understood that the TENGEN Life Science and Technology Park project is a major investment project of TENGEN and also the largest biopharmaceutical platform project that Tishman Speyer Group has built and is currently under construction globally. As the first Breakthrough Life Science Park in the Asia Pacific region jointly built by Tishman Speyer and TENGEN, it will add new momentum to the high-quality development of Pudong's leading area.
